Project Manager Support

You've appointed an internal project manager.
I help them structure, lead and move the project forward with method and peace of mind.

Accompagnement au chef de projet

You've appointed someone to lead your project? I make sure they succeed!

You made the right call: handing the project to someone who knows the subject matter. But knowing the subject and knowing how to lead a project aren't the same thing:

✖ lack of time or visibility
✖ project moving forward without structure
✖ stakeholders that are hard to bring on board
✖ mental overload for the project manager

Want your team member to succeed in this mission and come out stronger for it?
I support your project manager so they build real skills, stay the course, and deliver what you expect.

Concrete support, directly embedded in the project

I work directly with your project manager, in regular sessions.
My role is hybrid, adapting to the needs of the moment:

Coaching: posture, communication, decision-making, stakeholder management
Case-by-case training: leadership methods and tools shared at the right moment, on real situations
Supervision: regular review of progress, risks, and decisions to be made
Support: a space to ask the real questions, with no internal politics and no hierarchical stakes

+ Hotline included: in case of an emergency between sessions, your project manager can reach me within a framework agreed in advance.

This support is for you if…

- You've appointed a subject-matter expert as project manager and want to secure their success
- You don't have time to supervise the project yourself day to day
- Your project is strategic and you can't afford for it to go off track
- You want to invest in your team member's skill development
- You need an external, neutral perspective on how the project is being run
- You already have a team and a project manager in place, but everyone needs a little boost to pick up the pace

How does the support work?

Amandine Barles, symbioses solutions, les étapes de l'accompagnement

01 — Scoping call (duration: 1h)

We review the project, the challenges, and what you expect from your project manager and from the support. You set the framework.

02 — Launch audit

A first conversation to see concretely what exists and how your project manager approaches things. Following this, we define together the rhythm of the sessions, the scope of the hotline, and the development goals. Everyone knows exactly what we're going to build together.

03 — Regular sessions

At the agreed frequency, we work on what's current in the project: progress, blockers, decisions, tools. Each session is grounded in concrete reality.

04 — Progress updates

As needed, I give you a concise update on progress — without breaching the confidentiality of my discussions with your team member. You stay informed, without getting into the details.

05 — Project hotline

If needed, in case of emergency, within an agreed framework.

Frequently asked questions

Do you report back to me on what's said in sessions?

I give you concise progress updates on the project and on your team member's skill development.

How long does the support last?

It runs for the duration of your project. We start together and stop once the project is delivered, or once your team member no longer needs me. No minimum commitment.

What does project manager support cost?

I offer a monthly package that includes regular sessions, the hotline, and progress updates with you. It's calibrated to the chosen frequency. We discuss it during the scoping call, with no commitment.

Does the support work remotely?

Yes, most sessions happen by video call. It's effective and fits easily into your team member's schedule. If your project warrants it, I can also work on-site.

How is this different from hiring an external project manager?

An external project manager takes over the leadership in your place. Here, your team member stays in the driver's seat — they learn and grow. At the end, you've both delivered the project AND developed an internal skill set. It's a double investment.
